Hello all!

This is pretty much a copy and paste of my journal over at lauryds.deviantart.com where I have my SD/Doll pictures posted.

It's been pretty dang long since I've updated here but that's not saying that I haven't been drawing!  I'll post up a few more pics on here but if you want to check out my full gallery, go to my website - 3rdwife.com

That being said, I'm having a bit of an identity crisis right now.

3rd Wife has been my go-to representation for decades now.  It was created based off of a story that I never finished writing about a world that I like but am no longer in love with.  I also loved that House of the 3rd Wife could be shortened to h.o.t.3rdwife ^_^

To put it even simpler - it no longer represents me.

I'm in need of a new name, a new title and a new website but I'm not sure what can work.

I pondered life-of-a-2ndwife because that's what I am - my husband was married once before - but my blog is primarily about my art and doing craftsy creative stuff.  The chances of me giving any deep useful advice to 2nd-wifers are going to be slim to none!  art-of-a-2ndwife just doesn't have the same pizazz and, only for the sake of a webname do I wish I was a 1st wife because Life-of-a-1stwife could be shortened to loafwife and seeing that I'm a bread monger, THAT would be awesome!

I am a collector of stuffed and adorable pigs all thanks to the Lion King (Timon and Pumba's "you can be a big pig too") and it's something that I've never stopped collecting and doubt I ever will.  

Ideally, I wanted BigPig.com but that's been taken by someone who's not using it and I don't know how to buy it from under them!  Grrr!

Art-of-a-bigpig just sounds too direct and insulting.

Artsy-fartsy which is how my aunt playfully refers to what I do.

CraftyFox was another but, after being a pig all these years, I don't really feel foxy.

Basically, I'm in need of some help here.  Any and all opinions/suggestions welcome.

Proud to be Trini

So I was going through my old drives and stumbled across this story that I created for an rpg as a final project.

Well, I'm not sure if rpg is the correct term for it but well, you choose where you want to go in this story.

This is nearly 8 years old and it's amazing that I still find it entertaining.  I may choose to rewrite it so that it's a little more exciting and suspenseful but, considering that I was supposed to be focusing on my coding, I think this came out pretty well.

In other news, no one submitted any art for my wedding.  I'm disappointed and a little upset but, at the same time, I sorta expected it so I guess it's alright.  I've survived through far worse.

My fiance and I have been engaged for near 2 years and finally, after much hemming and hawing, we've set a date. Weary of the back and forth of having money to having absolutely nothing, we came up with a spur of the moment plan to seal our futures by getting married this Friday (Yay me!) AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED!

For those who were doing the math, yes. I'm getting married on Friday 13th. We don't believe in superstition because if we did, there was no way that we would have been lucky enough to be together which is why we are absolutely tempting the fates.

Since it will be near impossible for anyone to actually arrange to be there for the physical ceremony, we can always pretend.

Note me with a picture of yourself/avatar/fav character with either the theme of 'Friday 13th' or 'Love conquers all' because, if we can survive till next year then we've got nothing to fear

Since this is so last minute, I'll wait a month (or until submissions slow down) before I post a compilation of all my guests.
